Calcine is an exploratory short film passion project based on esoteric mysticism inspired by the book The Kybalion. The book outlines seven principles of alchemical law unlocking sacred wisdom.
This project incorporated heavy post production, sound design, and the creation of a custom font face to achieve an experiential style. There was also further experimentation into 360 degree video, see example below.
